Yet another classic finish to a euro2008 match. This one featuring three strikes in the final twenty minutes with the 90" gamewinner coming courtesy of Philipp Lahm. 3-2 semifinal winners Germany are now through to Sunday's final versus the Spain/Russia winner while Turkey, this years Cinderella, is headed home but with more than enough reason to hold their heads high. What a run by an outmanned Turkish side! One of historic proportions.

Wow. I never saw that one coming. The Dutch extended the euro2008 curse of the group winner becoming the third of three group winners (Portugal, Croatia) to go out in the quarterfinals after being completely outplayed by a Russian side on a mission. This doesn't bode well for Spain today!
